Right or wrong, she was already pregnant. There were those who scorned her decision; even the papers screamed abuse almost daily. They questioned her motives,analysed her situation. But apart from the criticisms, she was offered no solution.
She was aware of her age. It was no wasy task having a child at 45. It was worse for her since she had to nurse Faith as well. Faith was as brave as she could possibly be,given the circumstances. Who could have believed that only a year ago, Faith was 'brimming with health'(very healthy) and burnt to a crisp (typically referring to sunburn) from all the outdoor activities? Looking at her now, she realized that without Faith's persistent faith (she could not have been more aptly named, she would have caved in long before.
