Home decoration tutorial - how to upgrade your windowsill:)
Today I changed my kitchen interior with a really small ammount of money and a tiny part of fantasy:)
Before this upgrade I had a borind white windowsill. And I had it for a long time, and because it was white it was really hard to clean it properly. So, I decided to change this:)
First of all we need to wash it properly and let it get dry. Then we go to the hardware store and buy a self-adhesive film. I bought 1,5 meters of it, bright one:
Now, when the windowsill is clean we can start puting the film on it.
Clue one - don't remove all the paper at first. Fix only one corner, then continue removing the paper slowly, smoothing the film:
You'll have a bit extra film left - remove it with a paper knife:
Clue two: leave a part of it freely hanging, to bend over the windowsill:
I had to pass the cooker, had no access to that corner. When you bended all the "tail" - remove the rest with a paper knife:
TA-DAM!:)
Now my kitchen looks brighter:) I love bright colors, they make me feel more happy when involved to my interior. I think I'll do the same with the windowsill in my bedroom:)
Thank you for watching:)
Love, Inber

Great idea @inber for livening up the decor! I really like how the pattern and colors of your film look against the most excellent shade of green that is adorning your wall😊! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you for lovely comment:)
hehe clever ! ;-)
;) Art is everywhere:)
Haha, great minds think alike...the doors on my kitchen cupboards were just a cream colour and scratched and ugly. I didn't want to to spend up to €1000 for brand new units.
So, one week in our local Lidl they had rolls of self-adhesive plastic on offer. There were different patters and colours, but I liked the one that looked like a cream painted wood design.
So for €6.99 I was able to cover all the doors and drawers, and I have a new kitchen!
Self-adhesive film comes in all designs and colours and is a really inexpensive way to improve your home.
I think so too:) I think I will also "re-brand" by balconys doors:)
Great idea!
