Evening blog writing - orkish chests and colorful walls

Hi, guys!

Today I continued working with my orkish chest project, but yet I can't show the result - there's too much work to do there. Actually I already sleep and dream to finish this project cause drawing one chest for a whole month is way too much for me - usually I finish my artworks at the day I start them. Plus I have the same situation with the walls at the moment (quick reminder - I decided to change their color, and so I had to get rid of old paint on them, and at some places it went away together with pieces of the walls - so now I have to fix the holes first).

Guess who's my little assistant for all this work? Of course I've already colored Astro a bit. There's no way to keep your dog white when you're making, even a small, repair in your house. Seems like she really enjoys the process, everybody is active all the time, running here and there, making funny things and spreading paint. Yes, definitely an atmosphere for Astro:)

y the way on this photo you can see what is the color of the wall at the moment. This one I plan to change as well, but I will start with corridor first, where walls are light beige. Urrrgh, they must be bright, and that's what I'm going to do;)

Gah hate it when walls come apart! Was it too glossy to paint over? We did that with our house, didn't like the colours of the walls so painted over them and it worked out all right (though in some rooms it needed a few more coats as the colour underneath kept trying to shine through). The problem we had was the sheer volume of wallpaper the last owners had installed. We failed at removing that without destroying parts of the wall XD

Have fun with the wall painting and the paint on Astro's fur will grow out eventually XD Love the couch shot :)
