Poem — I remember the good times
some relations form for the better
of those involved as when iron sharpens iron
only to break and possibly try to mend later
when the offending party sees the value of the horse they once rode on
when we met each other
it was just me and you
i really wish you had kept that view
then maybe the good times would have been more
and the bad a few
some people say they are with you
that when storms come, they will never leave you
you believe them because of the assurances they give you
who knows, maybe what they say is true
but they change somewhere along the way
and leave you
i don't blame them
they took the choice based on their own point of view
i learnt from it all though
and i live life anew
i wonder how they feel and what they will do
now that i've made it
and the hard times are through
life can be rude at times
but I don't have regrets
i let go of the past
but i remember the good times
