Metal Armor insect

Goodnight Friend,
Tonight I want to show you one of the animals I met this afternoon in my yard. These animals are commonly known as gem insects or metal armor insects because of their often brilliant color. They are also known as shield-supported insects due to the enlargement of the thoracic scooter to provide continuous protection over the abdomen and wings.
These animals often stop at the leaves of small trees and flowering plants.
