@freewritehouse is a goofy, supportive community that welcomes everyone! Read some very short silly posts (or longer or more serious sometimes, too), post your own, chat with folks. Does it sound special? Hmm. It's the people that make a place special. And a task. I dunno. Try it once, see if you like it. I'll bet you will. I certainly do. A wonderful side effect is that it promotes good habits, like writing every day!
