Suffice it to say that these days voting bots play an important part in Steemit - widely and enthusiastically embraced and accepted by Steemit members in somewhat a larger number. Utilising voting bots to boost one's posts have become a common method for one to earn rewards.

Thai Steemit community likewise isn't an exception. Though, only a small number of its members that exploit these kinds of automatic generators - most of them won't take an advantage of bot operations to upvote for themselves, instead, helping and supporting each other is the key - building up a friendly and helpful Steemit community where establishing a great rapport amongst one another seems to be their weightest aim aside from the rewards. Perhaps, a kindred affinity draws and weighs more than any rewards that Steemit can offer - Thai community serves oneself as one of the illustrative groups which is fundamentally, a primary aim of Steemit in the first place.

Up until now, I've never (actually) employed any voting bots to boost my posts, as eager for one's rewards isn't my main purpose of using Steemit neither thirst for glorious éclat, nor judging the value of the posts by the amount of upvotes. Alas!, 'frailty thy name is human', I must admit that once in the past I had succumbed to the temptation and tried the Minnow Support, upon trying I sent the wrong Amout, thus it bounced back.
This made me think that maybe it wasn't meant to be, from then using a shortcut has never recurred in my head again and since I've learnt and found that by having genuine upvotes was far more important than anything; it's kind of making one's heart swells and feel good about one's capacity however small it is - because it signifies that the persons who give us upvotes must be or somewhat like our posts - genuine upvotes surely will make you feel proud of yourself than the upvotes that generate by the upvoting bots.
Whilst having lots of upvotes is a brilliant prospect though one can't deny that the cliched saying 'quality over quantity' seems to be true and give such a positive effect to the poster.

Personally, I'm not quite agreed with using voting bots as I think that we should express ourselves, compete with others from our own brains, styles and ability of our writing skills, though I appreciate that everyone has their own reasons in their doings, besides, it's their own posts, their business not for the other to concern about. However, there are a few rules that I think it wouldn't hurt to live by and to keep with general decorum.

So, when you should use Voting Bots to promote and boost your posts? Here is my list and what I can think of:

1. When you have a well intending plan to promote and connect people together to build up a network or to disseminate information.

2. When you find something that very good and wish to share with others (without inserting too much of your personal thinking)

3. When you find something that helpful and beneficial for others or something that is in urgent to make known.

When you shouldn't use Voting Bots:

1. When you want to hype up your post as to make it reach the trending table as you thought that it might catch attention from some big fish in a (gigantic) Steemit pond.

2. When you have vile ideas or a junk post yet want to spread them as an act of defiance of a blithering idiot - passing yourself as an uncool little snot has never been in vogue (yet).

The consequence of hyping your shoddy post isn't going to help you to reach the hall of fame, contrariwise, it might have a backlash from those big fish where they could downvote your post if they find the content of you post is nothing but toxic.

So, what is a good content ?

In my opinion, a good content relatively 'subjective',
not overtly, self-assuredly ram one's views on the reader's throat - let the reader be the judge of your post as when it comes to opinions, everyone simply different.
A good content is a piece of writing that the reader can feel its author is pouring their heart and soul in it, something that not a copy and carefully, attentively composes indicating their own idiosyncratic personality and convey their underlying message.

Mustn't forget that a good content doesn't mean a post that makes lots of money and a post that reaps a large sum of money doesn't mean that it's a good content.

ก็ต้องเป็นที่ยอมรับว่า สังคมSteemit ในทุกวันนี้ มีVoting Bots เข้ามามีบทบาทอยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก และก็เป็นที่นิยมชมชอบ ของสมาชิกส่วนใหญ่อยู่ไม่น้อย และการใช้บอทโหวตก็ถือว่าเป็นเรื่องปกติที่เห็นได้ทั่วไป

ในชุมชนไทยนั้น จะมีสมาชิกน้อยมากที่ใช้บอทโหวต และสมาชิกส่วนใหญ่จะไม่โหวตให้กับตัวเอง แต่จะช่วยเหลือสนับสนุนซึ่งกันและกัน เพื่อสร้างความสามัคคีในชุมชน จึงถือว่าชุมชนนี้ เป็นตัวอย่างที่ดี ที่ยังคงคุณค่าและอุดมการณ์ดั้งเดิมของ Steemit อยู่

ตัวเองนั้นไม่เคยใช้บอทโปรโมทโพสต์ของตัวเองเลยสักครั้ง เพราะไม่เคยโลภมากหรืออยากดังอะไร และไม่เคยตัดสินคุณค่าของโพสต์จากผลโหวต
แต่ก็ยอมรับว่าเคยอยากลองใช้ Minnow Support ลองดูครั้งหนึ่ง ปรากฎว่าส่ง Amout ไปผิด จึงถูกตีกลับมา จึงคิดว่าโชคชะตาคงไม่อยากให้เราใช้ทางลัด จึงไม่เคยคิดจะลองดูอีก
ถึงแม้ว่าในแต่ละโพสต์ของเราจะได้ผลโหวตไม่มาก แต่ก็ภูมิใจได้ว่าเรานั้นเป็นของแท้และของจริง ที่คนโหวตให้กับเราก็เพราะว่าชอบโพสต์ของเราจริงๆ ไม่ได้มาจากกระแสที่ Voting Bots สร้างขึ้นมา

โดยส่วนตัวแล้วไม่เห็นด้วยกับการใช้บอท ทุกคนที่นี่ควรจะแข่งขันกันด้วยมันสมอง, ความสามารถในการเขียน, สไตล์การเขียน และความเป็นตัวของตัวเองมากกว่า
แต่ก็เข้าใจหลายๆคนอยู่เหมือนกัน ว่าทำไมเขาต้องใช้บอทช่วยโหวต ซึ่งในบางกรณีก็อาจมีความจำเป็น

เมื่อใดที่คุณควรใช้ Voting Bots เพื่อโปรโมทโพสต์ของตัวเอง

1. คุณมีจุดประสงค์ที่จะสร้างความสัมพันธ์ในชุมชน สร้างชุมชน หรือต้องการประกาศข่าวสารสำคัญให้คนอื่นรู้
2. คุณคิดว่าโพสต์ของคุณนั้นดีมาก และต้องการให้ทุกคนได้อ่าน โดยคุณต้องไม่เข้าข้างตัวเอง
3. โพสต์ที่คุณเขียนจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อส่วนรวม หรือเป็นเรื่องด่วน

เมื่อใดที่คุณไม่ควรใช้ Voting Bots

1. หากคุณแค่อยากดังอย่างเดียว อยากติดหน้า Trending เพราะคิดว่าเหล่า ปลาใหญ่ทั้งหลาย อาจหันมาสนใจคุณ
2. โพสต์ของคุณเป็นโพสต์ที่แย่ โพสต์ขยะ โพสต์ที่อยากท้าทายคนอื่น

เพราะว่าการโปรโมทโพสต์แย่ๆนั้น จะไม่ช่วยอะไรคุณเลย แต่ในทางกลับกัน คุณอาจถูกดาวน์โหวตจากปลาใหญ่ได้ ซึ่งก็มีตัวอย่างให้เห็นกันบ่อยๆ เช่นตัวอย่างนี้:

โพสต์ที่ดีคือโพสต์แบบใหน?

โพสต์ที่ดีนั้นเป็น “Subjective” คือต้องให้ผู้อ่านเป็นคนตัดสิน ซึ่งความชอบของแต่ละคนก็จะไม่เหมือนกัน แต่โพสต์ที่ดี ต้องเป็นโพสต์ที่ผู้เขียนตั้งใจเขียน ซึ่งบ่งบอกตัวตนของผู้เขียนโพสต์ และเป็นของแท้ที่ไม่ได้ไปลอกใครมา

อย่าลืมว่าโพสต์ที่ดีนั้น ไม่จำเป็นต้องทำเงินได้มากเสมอไป
และโพสต์ที่ทำเงินได้มาก ก็อาจไม่ใช่โพสต์ที่ดีเสมอไป
