Pumpkin Seeds No More
Am quite stoked to see my pumpkin seeds sprouting as the earlier chillies and eggplants are still undecided if they want to sprout or not. It might just be the location or the kind of soil i've used. Watering them in the afternoon i think is better so that the soil is damp overnight. The heat during the day has wilted a few newly planted ones.
I planted 6 so if they all reach maturity and be productive, our neighbours will definitely benefit.
Pumpkin's flowers or buds are edible, so are the new leaves. How that is elsewhere, am not so sure. I've seen some flowers being sold in Victoria Park in London during Sunday Market but that was a first time. I actually asked a costumer how they are cooked so yeah, some restaurants do cook them similarly in the Philippines.
