DISHOOM London: from Bombay with Love
When around in Shoreditch, for who anyone fancies some Indian food with an exotic setting will surely find DISHOOM a novelty. Although Iranian in its' origin, this restaurant in London is a reminiscent from Irani immigrants from Bombay, having other restaurants in Kensington, another in King's Cross.
Voted as the best restaurant in London for 2015 and 2016, I personally have not been here before. It's location probably is not the best or can be seen easily in Shoreditch, it is near Bricklane for those who know the area.
They don't accept reservations, but there's no worry, it have a bar where it is separated from the main dining area.
For a monday afternoon, it was packed!
With exceptional service, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Excellent and fast service from the bar! With the ambiance, it was quiet too even though most tables were full of groups.
Colaba Colada anyone?

Most times, I'm just happy in ordering Mojitos that perhaps even with cocktails, I can become so boring. Is it me though where cocktails taste the same thing. They look exotic, with exaggerated names and all. BUT.
People seems to like getting drunk drinking one after the other. What's wrong with one or two? Being sober is LIFE!
It basically took 45 minutes before our table was ready. No sweat.
These sticks are incense and found by the door.
I love Moroccan tea houses and Dishoom have some similarity with the setting. But Moroccan is Morrocan, they love tazzles and printed chairs and lounge sets.

The images I have taken don't show justice of the place, but rest assured that this place have great reviews. With it winning an award two years in a row.
DISHOOM shows that old charm in its' designs and arrangements, where diners and customers enjoy that nostalgic feel, very much achievable and seemed effortlessly done with what the owners have done with the place.
