FIRST SUNDAY SERVICE IN JUNE 2026

^{Sunday Service}

Good day to all the wonderful people in Steemit. I am checking up on everybody today being 1st Sunday in June, I hope we all slept well. I want to thank God for the gife of life, it is a big testimony to wake up in good health. As we all know that today is Sunday and it is a day set aside to give thanks and worship Jehovah Overdo for His mercies upon our lives. I attended Sunday Service today by waking up early in the morning, pray and commit the day in God's hands, I quickly entered the bathroom, brush my teeth, bath, dressed up and rush down to Church as early as 6.40am. I nearly got to the church late but God helped me.

Secondly, today being 1st Sunday in June, it is the rule in the church that all the workers in various department in the church must put on Uniform and we had already discuss in the Choir department that we would be putting on blue and black even at that some could not wear there own because of one reason or the other.

The declaration in this month of June is our month of divine recommendation. As we can see, as a Chorister, we did Sunday ministrstion today and the song is "Let your power, Holy Ghost power, rest on me, rest on me, Let your Spirit, Spirit to Prosper, rest on me rest on, Let your Spirit, Spirit of Wisdom, rest on me, rest on me, Ohhooo rest on me, ooooh rest on me". I really enjoyed myself in the presence of God even during praise and worship session, I danced very wel and that session was awesome. God really blessed us today.

^{Lunch - Agidi and Stew}

When I came back around 2pm, I do not have the strenght to cook, as an African woman (laughed) I had to eat Agidi (in Igbo) or Ekor (in yoruba) made from corn flour with stew. I bought it on our way home, knowing fully well that I will not have time to cook. Yummy, it was really nice and I enjoyed it. After eating I have to rest because tomorrow is work.

My people till then, I pray for open heaven for each and everyone of us in whatever we lay our hands to do as we enter this new week. It shall trully be our week of divine recommendation and good news. God bless you all and have a lovely night rest.
