Small Room Upgrade | New Grill to my window

Hello Steemians!

I decided to attach a grill to my room window. Actually, I did not have any intention to do so. But two months back one of my best friends came to my home. He advised me to do so because these days there are lots of thieves in our area. So I decided to take an action.

There is a welding shop near my home. So I asked its owner to come and take measurements of my window. He took the readings and promised to finish the work within a week. But the week became a month due to various reasons. I did not blame him because of the bad situation in our country. Since the electricity supply is also not good, I tolerated it.

As you can see, this is how it is done. I’m very satisfied with his work and it cost me 6000 lkr for my windows. It only took 30 minutes to fix this one.

These days our trees are filled with various fruits. Mango, Rambuntan, and Jambu are some of them. Mangoes are my favourite. Especially our mango tree is a very sweet one. We usually eat those when they fall naturally after well ripened. But we occasionally make achcharu. This time we mixed salt and chilli powder but did not make achcharu. Either way, mangoes are I really enjoyed eating those with kids.

Since cashews are also available these days, we roasted lots of them and ate them. I have planned to plant some other fruits also in my garden. Those will definitely serve us in the future.
