My laptop is 4 years old. I did not format or install a new copy of windows at least 2 years before as I remember. Because of this, it has become very slow. It takes 15 minutes to start. Can you imagine the waiting time?

Recently I discovered a new feature of Windows 10. Our mobiles phones can reset since a long time ago. But pcs are not. If we want, we have to install a new copy of windows. I think this feature is a new update feature.

I was fed up with the time consuming start it up. So I decided to try resetting my pc. This does not require inserting the activation key again which is a good thing.

There are 2 options here.

1. You can completely reset your c drive.
2. You can reset without deleting your software are files.

I choose the first options after I copied my important files to my external hard. The process took nearly 2 hours. But the result is mind-blowing. Now my laptop boots up in less than a minute. I am really happy about what I have done. If your pc also slow, I suggest you try this method.

When resetting they are asking for the other 2 options.

1. Reset using local files
2. Reset downloading a fresh copy of windows online.

I choose the first one because of no data charges. But very much time-consuming. But the results are the same in both methods.
