A Picnic with her

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to go on a picnic with my fiancée, Rasi. We decided to go to Colombo and spend the day at Viharamahadevi Park. Rasi brought chicken patties that she had made herself, and I was thrilled to say that she has become a great chef. The patties were delicious and it was evident that she knows how to cook many different things.

During the picnic, Rasi gave me gifts which are given by her sister’s husband who came from abroad. He brought chocolates, a key tag, a ring, a hand band, a pair of shoes, and perfumes. I was overwhelmed with joy and felt lucky to have received so many presents. I also gave Rasi some gifts from my mother and she was thrilled to receive them.

Most importantly, I received my valentines gifts from her. This time I was really surprised by her gift.

After the picnic, we decided to go food hunting. This time we wanted to have pizza. We usually go to Pizza Hut, but this time we wanted to try a wood oven pizza, so we did some research and found "Giovanni's Presto Pizza". The reviews said that they were the best in town, so we decided to give them a try. The restaurant was located in Thimbirigasyaya and we took an Uber to get there. When we arrived, we were amazed by the beautiful location.

We ordered a half-and-half pizza, with one side being spicy chicken and the other side seafood. It was the best pizza I've ever had in my life. The thin crust was crispy and the toppings were fresh. We also ordered a virgin mojito, which was also the best mojito I've ever tried. The total cost was 5000 LKR, which included the service charge. Although the restaurant was on the more expensive side, the food was of high quality and it was worth the money.

After the meal, we went to the race course to buy some clothes for Rasi. We also watched a rugby match, which was a great experience. After a day full of activities, we were both tired and decided to go back home.
