Lava cake with no lava

Hello Steemians!

Now we are experiencing the extreme situations of a human-centric world. We have dominated this world and become a situation where we believe we should control the world. The world has become very complex in every way we can think of. That’s what we are experiencing with this economic and political downtrend.

It’s true that inflation is hardly hitting every part of the world. Even the USA is also frightened really hard to reduce inflation by increasing their interest rates. Every market is crashing very rapidly. I think we are very close to a situation where the recession is unavoidable.

Here in Sri Lanka, we have lots of problems. There is no need to explain those things to you. But people are suffering. Our mental health is at a level where depression and anxiety are spread all over the country. When talking with anyone, I can understand the sorrows they are facing.

For me also, I don’t feel the same way as before. It’s really hard. Spending all the time I have for the job and transportation is what I’m really fed up with. Spending with our loved ones is always a good thing. But we have to take time to think about ourselves also. I can remember in past days, I used to go to restaurants alone. I have watched many films alone. It really helps me to understand and enjoy my life in a different way.

With the time restrictions, distance issues and other various reasons I rarely got a chance to meet my partner. It’s really bad. When I was headed back home after work, I wanted to have a lava cake. I really like the lava cake in dominos. So, I went there and ordered one. But unfortunately, there is no lava in it. There lava cake quality has become very bad. That’s where I wanted to try a pizza also. So I did. Sometimes these little things really help us to improve our mental stability.

Yesterday is also the same. I saw the trailer for the new Jurassic World film. I wanted to watch it. So, after work, I went to the regal cinema Gampaha to watch it after work. I really enjoyed watching it.

My advice for you guys is don’t let yourself down. Try to enjoy even little things and be happy. Hard times will go away.
