Her first time trying a Corndog

Hello Steemians!

Last Sunday, I went to Colombo with my girlfriend for a day of shopping and exploring. Our main focus for the day was to find a good frock. We searched many different shops and boutiques, but unfortunately, we couldn't find exactly what she was looking for. Actually, I don’t remember the names of the places that we visited.

As we always try to find something different to eat when we go out, we decided to try something new for lunch. Rasi had never tried corndogs before, so we went to Burley's restaurant to try them. We ordered the fried potato corndog, along with four other selections. Rasi was very happy with her choice, as the corndog was filled with cheese and sausage. We also tried hot chocolate at the restaurant and it was very delicious.

After lunch, we went to the Majestic City shopping complex. There, we tried a hot dog from one of the food vendors. It was very tasty and hit the spot. We were not full after trying that corndog. That’s the reason we bought a hotdog also.

We then made our way to Galle Face beach and spent about an hour sitting in the middle of the ground. Since it was not that much sunny that day, sitting there and enjoying the scenery was still comfortable.

Overall, it was a very lovely day for both of us. We may not have found the perfect frock, but we had a great time trying new foods and enjoying the sights of Colombo.
