Dear Watermelon... - 5% for sl-charity

Are you also a watermelon lover like me. Seems like the season has come because I can see those everywhere these days. That’s why I thought of writing about this delicious fruit.

Last day, when I went to the stores to buy some things for our home, some watermelons are waving at me. I haven’t tried watermelon for n in at least a year. So, I got the chance at the first incident I thought about it.

The size of it was a bit average. I did not ask about the price. The total price of the things that I have purchased was a bit high and I was confused. Then I asked the price. Oh,h my dear. The price of it was 320 lkr. How in the world this can cost this much. I still wonder about it. But on the other hand, it’s, not a wonder. We live in a country where price rising happens. So be it. I thought the taste should be good by looking at the fruit and its colour. But unfortunately it w, as not that good. I can say it is average.

Once I searched my gallery on watermelons, I found some interesting photos. It was 3 years back. Sisuru baba is eating watermelons. He also likes this fruit very much. You can understand it by looking at these pictures.

In my academic life is the university we had to go on field surveys. Since we have to do those in the noon, it’s very hard to do so with the sun. One day, I and my friends ate lots of watermelons when we are doing the survey. Those memories will last forever with me.
