you as u know are already part of the community now , to get votes and to start gaining reputation and more power you just need to contribute with your own good posts , and valuable comments , with time you will get more votes and money ofcourse :)
and the tips for writing good posts are here on many posts so good luck dear :)
I can tell useful posts gain more than pictures for individuals only if it has no value for the others :)
