Zbrush 3D Creature Model Speedsculpt: Toothless Dragon

This was my first "real" attempt at speedsculpting a creature in Zbrush. Like most of my sculpts, it started as a sphere, and then I pulled and shaped and added and removed until I got to this dragon-like creature.

Since I only had an hour, it was a speedsculpt, and I had a lot of fun sculpting it. Here's a side angle:

This is a definite improvement from my previous attempt at free-form sculpting a creature, my Chinese bull/lion mashup.

I was really happy with how the eyes, ears, and nose turned out from the front, especially for only my third time using Zbrush - and my second attempt at sculpting something free-form with no reference materials to look at.

If you are interested in learning how to do 3D sculptures, Zbrush has a free 45-day download of the full-featured program, available from Pixologic.com They have a ton of tutorial videos in Zclassroom and YouTube, plus there are some great streamers on Pixologic's Twitch channel that really helped me learn the ins and outs of the program.

WARNING: Zbrush is super addictive!
Pretty much anything you can imagine, you can now sculpt in digital clay fairly easily. Enjoy!
