NIV:I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.

2 NIV:He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

3 NIV:He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him. (Psalms 40:1-3)

So many Christ do not understand the time table of God that's why they refuse to wait when they are supposed to.
God has his own way of doing things, he doesn't operate like man, he does his things in a different way.

Waiting on God doesn't mean God has forgotten you or God has disappoint you, God wants to test your faith and how long will can patiently wait on him. So many christian got tired and refuse to keep waiting for the Lord.

But remember what the scripture say, he waited patiently and the Lord turn to him and heard his cried. If he didn't wait patiently for the Lord, there's no way the Lord would have turn and heard his cried and deliver him.

It's time we start learning how to wait on God and not on man or on our own strength.
Wait, wait on God, wait patiently on him. When you wait patiently on God he will lift you, he will heard your cry, he will bless you, he will gives you a new song to sing, he will keep you on a solid rock.
