KJV:But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

21 KJV:If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. (2 Timothy 2:20_21)

What is vessel

We see vessel as a container used for putting and holding things and also for transporting things.
As a Christian we are God's vessel, he has put something in to us transporting us to different people to be a blessings to them.

They are different types of vessel

• Vessel of gold
• Vessel of silver
• Vessel of clay
• Vessel of wood
• Vessel of earth

Classification of vessel

Vessel is classified into two

• To honor
• To dishonor

Now are you a vessel of honor or dishonor?

How can one be a vessel of honor

KJV:Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (2 Timothy 2:22)

When you cleanse yourself (stay away) from things that is dishonor then God will set you apart for honorable, useful for the master.

To be a vessel of honor you must follow righteousness and stay away from the lusts of the flesh.

You must live in peace and charity with one another. Loving everyone just as Christ loved you.

Are you a vessel of honor?

Sanctified, and set apart for master use and prepared for every good work or you are a vessel of dishonor. Search yourself.
