A Loneliness Poem

Heading nowhere in a flash
Facial expressions passing by
It’s only me and my thoughts in this semi crowded mall
A feeling of loneliness overcomes me like a wave 🌊 dragging my level of content down to the depths of no return
I am trapped underwater
Fighting to be alright
I can visualize the light
I pretend there is a ray of sunshine
Beaming down on me beneath the salty water
I open my eyes and I can see
I am not the only one here alone
