Black And White In Nature
At times something in nature just scream to be photographed....this mossy stuff was legit black on one side and white on the other BEFORE I converted it to b&w.
It reminded me of reindeer antlers or otherworldly hands reaching up to grab someone while screaming "Photograph Me!".
Great photograph. And yes, antlers centre and reaching hands on the left. But seeing as where we are, they are probably begging for Steem

Oh. My! Why would you not feel that is as strong? My personal thought is it has more impact. The top seems to glow against that dark base, it is phenomenal! And a great shot of it to boot.
I think I saw it as black and white before I even shot it. It's what I knew I would do with it. Thank you for your kind critique. Maybe they are both great images that stand on their own two feet....but seperately.
That is definitely true, the part about being separate images. Would like to see a sepia one ;) And a negative. And than a montage of all 4. Just saying. You don't HAVE to do it...
I have it....but I don't feel it is as strong as the black and white.
