You made me do it!
You had always wanted my attention,
And now I fall prey,
How gracious the experience!

We pounded at every chance,
The little breathing space,
Dark corners were exploring,
You are such a good instructor,
You trained me well!

You never told me of the risk,
Now you give me words of fear,
How do I father a child with nothing?
How do I love it with no mixture of hatred?
How do I muster the courage of acceptance?
