Abandoned Shit Weekly Contest - №.15 - 'Freestyle!' - Back in time

Have you ever lived the feeling of returning in time? I lived it yesterday when, after many years, I was visiting my native village and I came back 50 years ago, when was a kid. After the death of my mother, the house where she lived became an abandoned place. Although I received this household as an inheritance, life kept me away from this place. Time and money were not enough to try renovate the house and the outhouses . It has been 11 years since my mother death and the place has become unrecognizable. The building in the foto was once a solid building although it was a building with wood and mud structure. There was a warehouse for cereals and other goods in the mother's household. I'm not sure what year it was built because it was there when I was born. I just remember that I was a kid when the upper part of the building, that was destined to store the hay, was reconditioned. I used to sleep in the hay on summer days, to the desperation of my mother who was looking everywhere without finding me.
Yesterday,It was sad when I saw the state of degradation of this place. It is hard to believe that it was once a solid construction!. What really impressed me was the fact that the ladder that I used to climb when i was a kid, is still fixed on the wall like 50 years ago!
Who knows! Maybe with the help of Steemit I can renovate the house and dependencies. 😀

Behind the house is a small stream that is now full of rush. It has not been cut off for a long time.

Unfortunately, there are so many abandoned places in the Romanian villages. The young people left the villages and settled in the cities where they work. The population in the villages is aging. I do not see anything good in the future of my native village!
