Visit the Lhokseumawe Museum

Today I want to visit a very iconic place in Lhokmseumawe City, that place is called the Lhokseumawe City Museum which is right in front of the Islamic Cener Mosque, for a more detailed location. This museum is located on Jalan Teuku Hamzah Bendanara, Kuta Blang, Banda Sakti District Lhokseumawe City.

This museum is very unique because it was built with the concept of a traditional Acehnese house in a classic style, today I will not enter the museum but only want to enjoy some of the unique collections that are on the outside of the museum, these unique objects are replicas in the environment. Acehnese traditional house in ancient times.

The Aceh house which is used as a museum is really built very beautifully, the environment in the museum is also very clean and of course beautiful to look at, on the front of this Aceh house I see there is a small hall, the function of this hall is used as a place meetings and deliberations of Acehnese people in ancient times.

Then on the back I saw a large drum, this drum is used to commemorate the time of Azan and breaking the fast. Then what is never left behind in an Acehnese traditional house is "Jeungki" (a tool for crushing rice into flour).

Its unique and distinctive shape makes this "Jeungki" one of the favorite things here. On the front of the house to the left there is also a hall, but this hall is not used as a place for deliberations, this hall is used to store rice or any other crops.

Deliberately placed outside the house so that the crops do not rot due to humidity. On the wall of the fence that is inside the Aceh Traditional house environment, several murals are also drawn which have a deep meaning about the history of Aceh. These murals were hand-drawn by artists in Lhokmseumawe City.

The most special thing from the Lhokmseumawe Museum yard is that we can see firsthand the majestic dome of the Islamic Center Mosque which is right in front of this Museum. Satisfied with enjoying the various beauties at the Lhokmseumawe Museum, I decided to go home again because it was already getting late.
