STEEMCHURCH MUSICAL:Talent/Skill vs. Anointing; [Does God Really Care If It Sounds Good Or Not?]
I don't expect that everybody who read this article will be content with it's substance. Since today I will provoke one of those well-known axioms that individuals have heard recounted and rehashed for such a large number of years that no one ever addresses it or even tries to search for any scriptural verification, one way or the other. Be that as it may, the bible is precisely where we're going today to find a few solutions.
"God doesn't care what it sounds like, as long as my heart is connected to him ".
It might have been said somewhat extraordinary somehow when you heard it, however no uncertainty you've heard individuals put forth this expression ordinarily.
However, is that extremely obvious? How does God truly feel about the nature of the music we present to Him? Does He think about skill or ability? Is it extremely even important to consummate it? Rehearse and polish our harmony and sound? Is it extremely justified, despite all the trouble to prepare your voice and flawless your blessing? Or then again is this all only vanity for our own consciences?
Numerous don't think He minds by any means. Indeed some accept insofar as you're singing for, to or about God basically anything is alright. Frequently you see this contention come up when individuals are being pushed past what they can easily do with an insignificant measure of exertion as well as practice.
For reasons unknown individuals truly despise any additional work, training, exertion or practicing to consummate music improved the situation God. How about we put aside for a moment the inquisitive difference in mentality you find in similar individuals in the event that they were, for instance, practicing for a mainstream music execution.
Today however, we should check whether we can get some thought from the Expression of God how He truly feels about musicians and singers and what they offer in His administration. We're speaking particularly about ability and skill, and what scripture needs to say in regards to it.
When you begin to truly ponder scripture identifying with music ministry; specifically, musicians and singers; one of the principal things you see is that relatively every time scripture talks particularly about a singer or musician, it makes a special effort to call attention to that singer or musician's abnormal state of skill. Investigate a couple of cases here:
Regularly when a musician is summoned, it is made clear in the demand that the musician be profoundly skilled:
I Samuel 16:17“
And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me.”
Psalms 33:3
“Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.”
The most highly skilled musicians were appointed as music leaders and instructors
I Chronicles 15:22
“And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skillful.”
King David had a choir of 288 musicians, and they were skilled singers:
Chronicles 25:7“
So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight

I could go ahead here, however unmistakably when you truly look through the scriptures you see skill and clever given high respect in music ministry. In any case, you likewise observe that skill alone isn't sufficient. David was acclaimed not just on account of his abnormal state of skill, but since of the anointing on his music.
Truth be told more often than not in scripture you see anointing specified in guide hue to skill ( I Samuel 16:14-23, II kings 3:15).
But then despite the fact that we have scriptural verification that skilled playing and singing is plainly exceptionally respected in scripture, we've all observed that little choir singing as one or that little mother stand up and sing a tune and shred the congregation despite the fact that neither of them were essentially "profoundly skilled" singers. The anointing certainly has the effect, and breaks the burden (I Samuel 16:18) .
That is the statement you hear frequently when individuals begin making the contention that God couldn't care less in the event that it sounds great. In any case, how about we investigate the genuine inspirations driving this contention.
Often it's not an energy or even a honest to goodness worry for doing ideal by God that makes individuals start challenging the work that goes into consummating music ministry. It is simply the despise for the work.
In all actuality, to play or sing skillfully in music ministry takes a ton of work. Blessed Gospel choirs don't simply stroll into the choir stand and naturally sing that way. Uncommonly talented musicians don't simply wake up playing that way one Sunday morning. It takes work and hours of training. It takes more elevated amounts of training and study. It takes going over parts again and again. Furthermore, truly, there are numerous who might much preferably telephone it in each Sunday than to do that work.
Not every person has a similar level of common capacity, that is valid. Be that as it may, numerous individuals who don't could unquestionably arrive with some additional work. Or then again some training to sharpen their specialty. But instead than do that work they would rather give themselves a go by making the contention that "God couldn't care less about all that", or it's not tied in with being flawless, it's about what's in your heart". The issues frequently emerge when these individuals need to be hoisted to authority positions regularly saved for those with the most abnormal amounts of skill (I Chronicles 15:22) without putting forward any additional push to maybe change or enhance their advertising.
Unexpectedly that announcement about how God truly thinks more about what's in your heart couldn't be all the more obvious. God couldn't care less if your blessing is great. What He cares about however, is regardless of whether what you're giving Him is your best. That clarifies why those singers and musicians and gatherings and choirs who prepare and practice and impeccable their musical blessings and services are regularly offered more elevated amounts of anointing.
It additionally clarifies why that little old woman singing off-key and that little choir singing as one can likewise serve under the anointing. The anointing has the effect yet the anointing just comes when you're putting forth a strong effort.
Tragically however, as opposed to put forth a strong effort, numerous individuals select rather to give God their best excuse. (Gen 4:2-7)

Wao! I love this.
It is unfortunate that even in the christiandum we see some that are talented in playing instruments but they still went ahead and requesting for payment from the church. They prefer their rewards to come from men rather than from God, they are more careful about themselves rather than God.
It is in the church that you will see some singing to entertain the congregation rather than to glorify God.
Whatever talent God give us, it should be use for the glory of God.
Shalom!

God from the beginning has always been a God and a perfectionist so we won't argue if he lives perfect thing even a saying goes that anything worth doing is worth doing well, although he doesnt neglect tge little effort we put in tryin to make him happy wirh our voice but he really appreciate it if it sounds better.
This message is just an exceptional. We as a Christians need to learn how to use music to praise the name of God.
As we all know music and praise brings the glory of God and his presence in our lives.
David was known for his love and destiny as a musician .
He pleased God through his music and talent after being anointed by Samuel.
His son Solomon inherited his father's talent by also pleasing God through his songs of love, life and forgiveness.
As young Christians we all should discover our talents and make use of it now because God has alredy anointed us with his gift even before we were born to the earth .
take up to your anointing destiny now that you are young and vibrant
GOD cares about every detail if our hearts. Not only about our lips
Don't play smart with God.

In my country we have a refrain related to the song "I sing well, but it sounds bad" in my opinion when it comes to ministering praises and singing in the services it is necessary to do it with exelience for God the creator of all things, everything they do, do it willingly, as if they were serving the Lord and not men.Colosenses 3:23, not by this I mean, that we should refrain from singing to God if we are not good at singing we praise the Lord so Listen badly in your intimacy with him, but do it with the understanding, What should I do then? Well pray with the spirit, but also with the understanding; to sing with the spirit, but also with the understanding.1 Corinthians 14:15
