Between 1892 and 1954, more than 12 million migrants entered the gates of Ellis Island to find a better life. The on-site museum incorporates their voice and story into a series of stimulatory exhibitions for modern day viewers to express a feeling similar to any room in the early 20th century. Registration process, legal hearing, inspection, medical treatment is required in the immigration process - when you do not speak English.
