Hello Steemit friends :)

My name is Barney and I really love the concept of Steemit.

Hopefully it will encourage a lot of people to share some of their incredible valuable stories. I mean think about having the greatest thinkers, inventors and leaders of all time and then being able to scroll back in time to when they first started out. You would be able to exactly check out how to learned, what their first big ideas were, all the good stuff.

Since a lot of us will be the first generation to have huge amounts of our experiences stored somewhere (pictures, videos, online) we should definitely use this opportunity to provide some guidance for future generations as well as laying a good foundation for our family name. Steemit is the perfect fundament to give awesome individuals the rewarding possibility to share their thoughts and letting us pick their brains.

Anyways, I like the fact that I’m one of the relatively early adopters.

Back to my person.

I’ll try to make the next paragraph not sound too corny. haha

My day is ruled by striving to become the best version possible. Actually I used to spent a good amount of time thinking about how I could excel so my potential wouldn’t be wasted. So reaching my full potential and impacting the life of millions of people to change the world for the better is what gets me up in the morning. I mean you got to have a big goal that’s worth living for right ?

“Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.”

is a quote by Albert Einstein that in my opinion can even be connected to the Stoic concept of doing what nature requests in order to keep the big picture going.
What’s up with him just throwing around random quotes ? Well since I drifted apart form basically all of my old friends and at the moment don’t have anybody to talk to, the Steemit community now has to partake in my random thought process. Hah

So when learning about personal development I started devouring books (constantly learning about various topics), hitting the gym and standing guard at the gate of my mind.

James Altucher’s daily practice is quite powerful and something I would encourage everybody to do.
After not finding answers to some of life’s questions I decided to postpone them and simply live. Otherwise I might find myself “In Search of Lost Time”. Still got a lot of years in front of me so there’s nothing to worry about at the moment.

Still working on becoming self-aware or rather knowing myself. That’s where the power is at.

I’m often quite lonely so in public you would see me walking around with a big smile – or book. That is because all I can think of is being positive to ensure that other people have a good time so they don’t have to go through similar pain. After all life is too short for negativity – and not being awesome.

Wow this really has no order what so ever but I’m new to writing so my next pieces of content will definitely clear up some of your questions. Let’s just pretend it’s a stylistic device.

Another thing I like to do in my free time is visiting nice viewpoints. There’s nothing more relaxing than enjoying a cinematic panorama. It is just the perfect satisfaction after an awesome climb. Like the saying goes, the climb is tough but the view well worth it.

Traveling is also something I really enjoy, plus it broadens your horizon. Something about talking to locals and learning about different cultures just excites me. Also makes you realize that your problems are not so big and you should just stress less and live more. Nobody is going to make it out alive, let me tell you that.

My goal on Steemit is to meet some amazing people and help others with sharing some of my stories as well as my progress with basically life.

Got a couple ideas and projects I will be working on so let’s see what I can come up with.

P.S. I know my English is not perfect so I sometimes think about how I would probably be able to articulate all of this better in German. Even wondering if I sound rather dumb in English (Disclaimer: That’s not the case. Haha).
But for now I would like some feedback on whether this makes any sense or I’m just sounding like a crazy person.
If the latter is the case I will come up with a solution. Haha
