Introduction
It is not a new thing again to say that technology has taking over everything. Almost everything we know today was invented by people and it has helped us in one way or the other. In our lives, in healthcare, technology has taking over. Aside from the doctors hand, every other thing he will use is technology.I give God glory for what scientist have done. They have helped humanity in so many ways and in this contest i will mention some equipment used in the hospital to save Life today.
before the invention of computer and other health technology, how do people take care of their health?
People took of their Health in tubom tubom way. That is gaze work or gaze treatment. It may be malaria or. Some consult a fetish doctor to ask if it is thei late family members is his or her sickness. They also go to people who use different leaves for treatment. There was nothing like test yo find out the problem first.But today invention of morden day computer have made it easier for doctors to examine inside the body, blood and other things now before treatment.
How did technology improve life and reduced mortality rate?
Before now death of pregnant Women and children rate was so high due to the fact that they don't get adquete care. For example Convulsions, a sickness that claimed so many children life. The cause of it is high fever and shortage of blood but then they believe is demonic attack and the will be put close to the fire and will be giving all sorts of herbs mixed together to expelle the demon but today, mothers have been trained to handle fever in serious way so that it will not be high and as a result, Convulsions is becoming a history.Another example is polio, we can see that because of morden day technology, an immunization program has been arranged by government through health centers to tackle it and the effect has reduced.

stethoscope: This is an equipment or instrument that doctors use to listen to the sound in the body.

The Doctors always wear it. They put it like ear piece and press the round tips on your heart to listen to the beat or any other part of the body.
MicroscopeThis is another equipment that scientists to see the shape of a cell, its nucleus, mitochondria, and other organelles.

You can see a doctor using microscope to examine something. Some of it can see things on a cellular level when the problem is still hiding.
What was your experience when or if you have visited a health diagnostic laboratory?
I had good experiences few months ago when i was sick. Ordinary looking at the symptoms of the sickness, i would have finish all the pain relief in the pharmacy. I would have been sleeping in different prayer house or drinking herbs for tumor or something else but when i went to different labs nothing was discovered and they did not give me even paracetamol.Another experience was when a friend was attacked in the middle of the night with a serious pain. People suggested that it was ekpo or winch but I insisted that he go for Lab. Do you know his problem? Pneumonia. This is how he was treated and become healthy again.
