Will artificial intelligence lead to more unemployment?

It has already led to unemployment in some fields. They are called disruptive technology because they disrupt the status quo.

After some time, it should lead quite naturally to opportunities for retraining and reemployment of the population. Perhaps it will lead to a redefinition of “employment” and certainly reductions in the need for tedious and otherwise unrewarding labor at all levels of society. We’ve gone through changes in work-habits before (agricultural work to industrial work to service work).

If you can employ your desktop computer and harness AI technology and the cloud to do the work, why would you seek employment for yourself, rather than living the dream, working for yourself, creating your own future? AI will be designed to help you do that work and harness that technology; the tech companies are already on it.

If you don’t have to work as much or as hard, you might complain, but why not become a man or woman of leisure. I can attest that life is much better when you are at your leisure; you spend more time doing what you like to do rather than doing what you must do.

Of course... these days the business owners prefer to work with technology, because many human resource are fuked up... and they won't do they job how they are supoesd to do... wich leads in losing a lot of profit!!
