Today's poem is dedicated to my mother
The extraordinary woman
I can't compare to any human
For to me she is my mother
Whom I can't compare with any other
I was in your matrix those days
That you cried in silent of labour pains
Persevering carrying me for several months
For Numberless of weeks equivalent to nine months
My coming to this world was as a result of the endurance
Solely for me so that I would be born
At this time the world taught I was dumb
But you trained me from the time I was young
All these, so that I would be strong
In moments of illness, she slept not
All she seeks was a remedy
Only her understands my cry
Rasp not, others sigh
But then she alone Knows the solution
To stop the ululation
You truly made numerous sacrifices
As an advisor you are the best
Insisting I have good companions
Due to your care you made me reach this gest
Age with grace mother and live long
So you can reap what you have sown
I candidly love you mother
Greater love I can't have for anyother

A mothers is the best gift a child can have. I really pity those who went through childhood without one.
Truly, they really missed a lot.... it is however not their wish!...may our mothers live long to reap what they have sown. amen.
