Many people believe that if they continue to learn the same things they already know, they will eventually grow to be stagnant and boring. They want to experience fresh and exciting learning. The last thing I want to help you with is to help you develop a mindset for searching for new perspectives. Most people get caught up in how they see things and how they feel about things. They are afraid to ask questions or to change what they are doing. But this is the exact opposite of what you want to do. If you fear asking questions and change what you are doing, you won't grow and you won't discover new perspectives.

You need to learn how to ask questions, change what you are doing, and pursue new perspectives. The best way to do this is to get a notebook and write down everything that changes you think or feel about a particular subject. Once you have a notebook, you can look at your notebook whenever you are stuck or have a question about something you have previously thought or felt about.

Not only will you learn more, but you will actually start changing your own behavior. As you begin to learn more about new perspectives, you may even want to think outside of the box a bit. You may find that you are comfortable doing things a certain way but don't understand why. You may want to challenge yourself by doing something differently, then ask yourself why you did it and what it had to do with the outcomes that you experienced.


In addition to changing your own behaviors, you also want to take the time to listen to other people's perspectives as well. When you attend events like conferences or workshops where there is a chance to network, take advantage of it. Talk to people who you have gone to school with and talk to people who you work with. Ask them how their career has been going and what challenges they have faced. This will help you to become a better professional so that you will have better success in the future.
