Oldschool techno from one of the innovators of techno music. Richie Hawtin- all hail the King!!!
Beeing one of the major artist on the scene he has produced for so long and under so many aliases it is hard to name them all. If you are into techno you must have heard a lot of his music.
The youtube "video" below is the whole album. Originally released in 1993 and still considered a remarkably good record for the genre.

Back in the days, Richie was really at his best! Loved most of his music, and sets I've had the change to listen. Last decade or so, I have my other favourites. Super share!
Never seen him live. But some of the live gigs online are pretty nice.
i advice to listen to his works and sets from the 90s and early 2000. when he got in the so called 'click house' aka the (at that time) new minimal, he slipped away from what I like and what I consider interesting music, unfortunately.
Yea I agree on that. I just praise him as "the King" because he was one of the people elevating techno music. Some of his works are a great mix of techno, acid and "traditional electronic" music.
But I will take you up on the advice and listen through the albums he made in the 90's and early 2000.

I also never but I want to change it and luckly I will have an opportunity to check him in April because he is coming to the Netherlands. As far as I know few of my friends are interested in this gig so probably I will join them for the night with a legend. Agree with @qsounds - super share

to be honest: all times i tried listening his sets done in the last decade and more, is not my thing, the 90s and early 2000s, those days is when richie stood out for me.
unfortunately I couldn't be at this party, but my friend told me, that the same club few weeks before invited Elke Kleijn and he played a way much better.
Who is Elke Kleijn ? A DJ from Rotterdam, who lives and plays mostly in USA
Will need to spend some time on this recording and other stuff of Elke; Some of the tracks are not my thing, but then again, I only heard fragments of the recording. Thanks for your comment and sharing Elke.
