Removing snow from your roof.
This is how you remove snow from a roof in Norway.
Supposed to be 15 metric tons of snow. Removed by sawing at it with a wire. That is so much snow that it would collapse a house that isn't built for supporting the weight. The mass of the snow will create a massive push sideways as it leaves the bottom of the roof.

Norway has a costal climate. The temperature may vary from below zero C to over zero C in a day.
Dry snow is one thing. But if you get a rainfall on top of that heavy snow... Multiply the weight by 3-4 !
