Dead Can Dance
I am posting two songs from a group I just started to dive into. I have known about them for years, but never took the time to listen to them until now.
Type of music
Dead Can Dance is a group that makes music that cross musical borders. Their music is ambient and relaxing, but yet they use a lot of instruments and the vocal is a big part of the music. Big influences from folk and world music. It sounds grand, but never gets boring. If you are into relaxed music and soundscapes you should give it a try.
Sound
Dead Can Dance are also known for having very good sound production. I think thats what caught me and made me listen to them now. A year ago I upgraded my home stereo. I will make a post about it soon.

I also do not know that much about Dead Can Dance, but what I heard of them, I like. These two tracks you included as well. I have some folder with some of their albums, but I think I never really listened to most of it.
I have had some of their records running in the background. It is not my typical kind of music, but they are really good.
What is your typical kind of music?
Hey, good question!
Grew up with AC/DC, Metallica. Slowly drifted into hiphop at highschool. Turned more and more into disco, funk, techno, housemusic and electronic music.
Tend to be more on the leftside of music than popular. Today I can listen to almost any type of music. But I will stay clear of trad jazz, classic and singer/songwriters.
And you? What are you into?
Nice combination! I also can listen to any type, but must be of certain quality. I appreciate electronic music a lot, but also like acoustic music. I post about my absolute favourite music, almost on a daily bases, and so now and then I create a play list listing all my previous posts to provide easy access to my whole history. You'll see techno, house, experimental, pop-ish and even classical recordings, bands, artists.
