#gratefulvibes - Family Gathering
Thanksgiving is a day away from today, and I believe it is a perfect time to take a few moments to be grateful for family gathering.
Life in today world is so busy, and getting together seemed to round off to just a few gatherings during the Holidays. Speaking for my family, we are spreading all over the United States. We used to have a full house, but now there are only four of us: my mother, brother, one nephew and me.
It will be a quiet Thanksgiving celebration, but the reasons to be grateful are enormous:
- I am so thankful for mother who is doing remarkably well after her heart attack in September
- I am grateful for my brother, who takes on the daily chores of being there for our mom
- I am also very grateful for my nephew, who comes by in the weekend and helps me out with providing homemade meals for them whenever he can
- I am thankful for today, as a new day comes with new hopes and full of surprises
- I am grateful just to be ALIVE
Nothing is certain in this world, but the love for family and one another will forever remain.
