Picture of a flower I captured on my way to the stream
Good evening @steemphotos, am really happy to be here, and this happens to be my first time posting in this community, and I must confess that am impressed seeing this community growing rapidly.
After my activities at home and the hot weather we are experiencing this days, I had to go to the stream to take bath, I saw this beautiful flower from a far, so I had to take a shot.
Flowers were created to beautify our environment
This flower is call Carol vine
Coral grape (Antigonon leptopus) is a trellising grape with pink or white flowers and heart-shaped leaves. It is easily taken for granted. In the southern tropics it is considered an invasive species.
Coral Vine (Antigonon leptopus) is also known as the Queen's Wreath, Mexican Creeper, and Chain of Love. It is a fast-growing tropical grape with attractive pink to white flowers that grow in USDA 9-11 locations.
This indigenous Mexican plant is considered to be invading parts of the world, including parts of the southeastern United States such as Florida. However, in arid, semi-arid regions of the U.S., such as Arizona, it grows rapidly but is not considered dangerous.
