11-year-old boy asked the minister for education

What does ordinary mass need?

The large part of the world population is very very degrading. What is their primary requirement? Ordinary flesh first needs food to eat, then clothes to wear and shelter or a home to live.

The ruling political parties woo the poor citizens with lots of promises. They promise them hope for employment and financial assistance.

Voters believe empty promises and vote them to power again and again. Recently we saw what happened to the citizens of Sri Lanka. The government went bankrupt and the president-prime minister couple flew away.

What is more important for poor citizens?

In the recent past, something strange happened in a village in Bihar, India. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was on his way along a village road where he met common citizens and gave them an opportunity to talk to him.

The 11-year-old kid surprised everyone with his stimulating words with the Chief Minister. The child asks the minister for education, and not any financial aid!

Sonu Kumar, an 11-year-old boy from Bihar told the Chief Minister of Bihar that he did not want any financial help but wanted education. Sonu asks the CM to get him admission in a good school like "Sainik School". Sainik (Sainik is a Sanskrit word meaning army) The school is renowned for quality education and discipline.

A small child from a very poor family, where no one has received an education, after such a request to the minister, is an incident of great surprise. His father used to be a drunkard and now the boy could convince his father to give up alcohol.

Sonu Kumar started teaching various subjects to friends.

Sonu Kumar became interested in learning using a relative's mobile phone and self-study using the Internet because his local teachers do not teach them well.

Sonu Kumar volunteered to help around 35+ friends in their studio. And the number of students (members) in his tutoring is increasing.

A personal video recorded his conversation with the Chief Minister in the crowd and posted the video on social media which went viral. That's how I also came to know about the prodigy Sonu Kumar. I am attaching Sonu's interview with a major news channel.

Final thoughts

I am very impressed and inspired. A poor boy who has been suppressed in society and family, he seriously wants to get a quality education and take up the challenge of developing the nation.

Are we listening/are you listening? Yes, I ask people from my country and from other nations of the world.

What can an 11-year-old boy think and understand, why can't grown-up voters take serious notes and take follow-up action?

Global citizens need a background for quality education. A proper education can build a better nation and a better society.
