Hello friend, hope you're enjoying yourself here on steemit. Welcome to this edition of 'learn my language and understand my culture', today I'll like to show you what day-old chick is called in my language. In my culture, we value chicks and cares for them like baby human.

It few weeks to hatch by her mother hen, and in my land, we have local (natural birds) which can tend for themselves around the vicinity, gardens, and on the streets with the help of their mother, like the one shown bellow.

This type shown above are strong type that can surmount infections and other killer diseases, yet they are not totally free from danger as they are still prey to other animals and birds; like hawk and other reptiles. in our culture, it's the duty of humans to help chicks at anytime they are in trouble, anyone that ignores the voice of a chick crying for help is seen as a wicked one, and heartless.

Another type is the one raised in a farm which is well taking care of by farmers, this type is known by rapid growth which facilitates sales and income, nevertheless, they are fragile in nature, the demands absolute care from the owner as they can easily be affected by all extreme weather. This type are not left with their mother in anyway as most of them are hatched by incubator machines.

They are solemnly taking care of in group and in an environment well equipped for their survival like shown below.
