THE DIARY GAME : THURSDAY ACTIVITIES ; 22/07/2021

Hello fellow steemians,
Eid Adha is normally a 3 days celebration with the prayers happening on the day after 'ARFA' and the remaining 2 days for slaughtering of cattle, sheep and goats and the sharing of the meat.

Today being the second day of Eid Adha, I woke up very late due to how stressed I was the day before. When I woke up, I went straight to the washroom to brush and then take my bath. I then went to this local healer to examine my ankle for me, an injury I picked some few days back from football. He examined it and massaged it for a while and he applied some black ointment on the ankle to help ease the pain. After he was done, I asked of the price and paid.

I did not take breakfast before going to the healer's house so when I got home, I went to this favorite Koko (porridge) joint and bought some of the Koko with koose. When I got there, the one she prepared earlier on had finished so I waited for about 10-20 minutes for her to quickly mix a new one before I bought it. I sat there and drunk the porridge before going home.

When I got home, I was a bit exhausted so I went straight to the room and slept. I woke up around 10 am and I quickly turned the TV on and tuned to kessben TV to watch a sports show. They really talked about alot of stuff, some of the topics discussed are, the ongoing Olympics, how betting and match fixing is trying to spoil the Ghana Premier League.

When they closed the program, it was time for Zuhur prayers so I quickly performed ablution and observed the prayers. After the prayers, I went and visited my aunt who lives in a community a few miles away. She was very happy when she saw me and she was complaining of how I have stopped visiting, I told her how busy my schedule has been and she was okay. We had a long chat before I left.

When I got home, my friends were going out so they asked me to join. We took some pictures before going. Most of them were going to visit their relatives so since I had nothing doing, I just joined. We really kept long so when we got back home, it was time for Isha prayers. I quickly went and observed my prayers.
