Hello fellow steemians

I am very glad to share with you how my day went. I woke up around 4:45am as usual to observe my Fajr prayers. I then set an alarm on my phone to ring exactly 8:00 am after I was done observing my prayers. When the alarm rang at 8:00 am, I quickly woke up and went to the bathroom to take my bath. After bathing, I went and heated water and prepared breakfast. Immediately I started taking my breakfast, I had a call from a friend who is aspiring to become our department President asking me to escort him to the various class for campaign. When I was through with my breakfast, I then ironed my clothes and picked my book having it in mind that, immediately we are done with the class rounds I will go straight to lectures since we were having lectures around 10am. At around 8:45 am, he (my friend) called me again and showed me where to meet him so I quickly went to the location and we set out for the class rounds. At Exactly 9:50 am, we were done with rounds so I now went for lectures which was schedule to start at 10am.

When I got to the lecture hall a few of my colleagues were there but the lecturer wasn't in so we had to wait for him for a while. We sat for about 30 minutes before the lecturer came in. When he arrived, it took him almost 40 minutes to set the projector due to some technical problems before the lecture commenced. He started by recapping on what he taught last week before he started with what he was supposed to teach for the day. He spent almost 2 hours before he finished with what he was supposed to do for the day. When he was done, the second lecturer came in and we complained of how exhausted we were, so he gave us some 30 minutes break to go out and freshen our mind and then take some snacks.

When the break was over, we quickly rushed back to the lecture hall to sit for the second lecture. The lecturer then said the size of the class has reduced so he took attendance and promised to give all those present 5 marks. He also taught for 2 hours and still wanted to continue after the 2 hours but we pleaded with him to close as we still have a third lecture to sit for. He agreed alright but he told us to prepare to sit for 3 hours on our next meeting with him. The class thanked him and the course rep escorted him back to his car.

We were now patiently seated and was waiting for the last lecturer to come. We sat for almost an hour and there was still no sign of him so some students concluded he might not come and went back to their hostels. The few of us who remained sat for 30 additional more minutes before the assistant course rep came and informed us that the lecturer was in a meeting and can't meet us today. We were really furious and started asking the course why didn't he tell us this earlier. The course rep apologized and said he tried reaching the man but he wasn't picking his phone and the time he got the information is the time he informed us.

Imediately we were informed the third lecturer is not coming, I rushed to go get something to eat since I had not eaten since breakfast. On my way to the hostel, I passed by a very popular "waakye" joint on campus and bought some to the hostel. When I got to the hostel, the first thing I did was to eat before I even undressed my clothes. Immeditely after that , I went to the mosque to observe both my Zuhr and Asr prayers. After the prayers, I took a nap for a while and woke up around 5:00pm.

I quickly dressed up in my sports wear and went to a near by field to play football with some colleagues. The training was very keen and interesting. I really enjoyed it unlike other days where the boys will be playing making it boring. Immediately we closed, I rushed back to my hostel and took my bath and fast forward I went to the mosque to observe my Magrib prayers.

There was a man wanting to give an Islamic lecture after the Magrib prayers so I stayed back after the prayers to listen to the teachings. He talked for about an hour and by the time he finished, it was time for Isha prayers. We quickly prayed and everyone dispersed to their various hostels .
I would like to thank @massachussets for guiding me in writing this piece and also thank @steemitvommunity for reading the post.
