Donald Truma..........announces the World
The United States President Donald Trump has reacted angry with his desire to impose taxes on the import of steel and aluminum, from neighboring Canada to East China. These responses started coming on Thursday after the sudden announcement of imposing imposition of duty on steel and aluminum.
On Thursday, the President Trump announced at a meeting with executive officials of steel and aluminum-based companies in the United States that 25 percent of steel imports and 10 percent of aluminum will be imposed on duty. Trump does not have to get parliament's permission to implement this announcement. The next day in a tweet, he wrote, "Trade is war and it is easy to win." Following the sudden announcement of the trump and tweets, the stock exchanges in Asia, Europe and Australia fell yesterday.
Angry Canadian Foreign Minister Francois Philippe called the announcement of the imposition of the President Trump 'unacceptable'. The country's Foreign Minister Christia Freeland said that counter-measures will be taken if the United States is actually a taxpayer. Canada exports the most steel in the United States.
Toyota, the world's leading Asian car maker, believes that the US decision will have 'reverse effects' on car makers. Toyota collapsed more than 2 percent in yesterday's stock.
