Conceptual Design For Client

Our studio does a lot of work for customers who are not quite sure what they want. In this case the customer asked for a different take on a traditional lake house for a piece of property that he had. We took some inspiration from coastal beach housed that are built on stilts. In this case the house is built out over the lake on wooden pilings. There is a dock like walk way out to the house and it's front door.

We did the majority of the work on this house in Autodesk Revit. Revit is what is know as a building information modeler and it is simply amazing. Not only do we get a pretty building for visualization but we also get a schedule of materials and construction documents from it. We then brought it into 3DS Max to add some details. Finally it was imported into Lumion where the finishing touches such as environment, landscaping, and atmosphere were added. It was also rendered in Lumion.
