Why I love steemit
We love getting reputation and I am no different.
I joined Stack-exchange few months ago because I saw a lot of questions I could actually answer and in the process help people. It gets better when you're awarded reputation points for doing so! That's what kept me attracted to it.
Remember, how good it feels when someone likes your facebook status/ favs. or retweets your tweet or when someone follows you? It gives us a sense of reputation. Basically it hits the brain's "pleasure center".
Few weeks ago I read (I don't remember where but it was probably reddit) that in the future, money will be replaced by reputation points like in reddit, stack-exchange, etc. I was fascinated by the idea but today while lurking up through websites reading crypto news I found about steemit. It was like dream come true.
I'm not an extrovert but I occasionally express myself when needed and with steemit it gets even better.
Here's a list of reasons why:
1- The community is supportive and welcomes newbies very warmly.
2- I mostly used Facebook and Instagram where you can't really reach the bigger audience. That changes completely with steemit.
3- Money. Let's be honest, who hates money? Especially when you have an opportunity to just write good quality stuff and paid. People would definitely want to give it a shot.
3- Although there are lot of bots who spam to earn to earn money through curation rewards it relieves me to find real users commenting on my post and welcoming me to the community.
4- This is something very new for me and as we all know new = exciting!
5- Last but not the least, I hope that the excitement never fades away!
This is for real users(not bots) who've actually read my post:
I'd love to hear your views on this post and I'm open to any suggestions/critics.
Thank you for reading, have a nice day!
