Be careful. Isn't it dangerous for white people in South Africa? Was the car locked? Did you have an aftermarket radio? Hopefully you can get a car battery for pretty cheap. Sometimes junk yards will sell them.
It's dangerous for just about anyone in this country I believe. It was an aftermarket radio yes. They go for a reasonable price over here.

Come to live in my neighbourhood :D If you leave your motorcycle outside for the night, it might not be there in the morning! And if you have a car, you might lose a mirror or stereos on weekends. People kick your mirror off just for fun ! But if you park on your own parking spot, usually nothing happens to your car. Only the ones parked on the street get damaged, but with motorcycles the place doesn't really matter.
I once left my motorcycle on the street for the night. I used to smoke a lot of cigs back then and I could see the bike from the balcony but first night it was badly damaged and the night after that it was gone :D I didn't see or hear anything. I don't live there anymore tho, just a few km away :D But here it's mostly the same, maybe not so bad but still..
Yea, its sad that people have to resort to stealing to survive. Life is hard for most people, but that doesn't give you the right to steal someone's belongings.
