for waking me up
with your kisses every morning

Thank you
for patiently listening
to my stories of how may day went

Thank you
for laughing
when my jokes are obviously lame

Thank you
for not fighting back
when I sometimes get to my temper

and

Thank you
for helping me
do the laundry and the dishes

Fancy bouquet of flowers,
chocolates and balloons
does not compare

To these simple gestures
of love
you make me feel everyday
