Consequence!!!

I work in the marketing and promotion department. While we give a speech/presentation or in a training session, one thing we give the most importance. And that is 'consequence'.

Seeing the long-term consequences is the key to success. That's what I believe.

Not in just the marketing world but in general, understanding the consequences of our actions, our decision matters more than anything.

Take an example from your life. Okay, let me go first.

I can remember one time a group of our friends was mocking another friend for talking with some girl without knowing the girl is his cousin and they were talking about some serious/sad family matters. That word hurts my friend very much, he cut off his friendship with us for a while. We get back to him with an apology. But the friendship never goes well after that incident.

This still aches my heart.

We became mature, life went far away but that incident still hurts me.

I wish I could know the consequences back then. The impact of it.

The unfortunate thing is, we don't get to Learn it very actively. Yes, we studied climate change, behavior science. But never realize it that way. Maybe because there were no life examples. Maybe we failed to relate.

I was training up a young group of professionals and was giving examples of how one simple/insignificant act can make a huge impact in the marketing world.

Whatever it is, marketing/professional/or personal life; studying consequences should be one of our priorities. In daily life to a career path, understanding this could save you million times. Because this will make us more conscious about our acts and behavior.
