My Thoughts on the Essence of Life (freewriting)

Love...
Is when you still make meals for family eventhough you are so exhausted. Love is a strong feeling, as strong as hatred, only that love never fails. Love causes people, things and situation to bloom. Love resurrects death.

Joy...
Is when you still full of energy eventhough you are deprived of sleep. Joy is a drive from within that gives you strength to move on despite trials and suffering. One can easily find joy in children, for they rarely feel tired.

Peace...
Is when there is storm, you are still rooted and grounded, immovable yet alive. Peace causes two enemies to get together and to sit down for a meal. Peace stares at problems and said "you are a piece of cake".

Patience...
Is with someone who is not affected by time. Patience is on the one who can wait 2 hours for another person to get ready. Patience and wisdom often goes hand in hand. One with patience often has a calm heart.

Kindness...
Is someone who gives without asking back in return. One who goes all out to love, to share, to help. Kindness always reaches out helping hand eventhough the helping hand may be weary.

Goodness...
Is where darkness can't prevail. Goodness is like a candle which shines brightly in the dark. One seed of goodness planted can save the whole sea of darkness.

Gentleness...
Is like a dove who flies freely in the sky. Gentleness is not merely action, it is something within the soul. I look at gentleness, and I feel fluffy cloud around me.

Faithfulness...
Is like a commitment fulfilled even in the midst of impossibilities. A faithful person stays through thick and thin. And I find a faithful spouse smells like fragrance even without perfume.

Self-control...
Is when you swallow angry words eventhough you are extremely angry. Self-control causes the hulk to never exist. Self-control and patience are always best friend.

These 9 elements knitted together into a fruit basked called fruits of the Holy Spirit. They are purely the essence of life. Galatians 5:22-23
