Song of the Day - Saturday Come Slow by Massive Attack
This new year has largely turned into one where I’ve been shying away from the Techno. I’m sure I’ll swing back into it soon enough, but right now I’ve been feeling things a little more singer songwriter. Saturday Come Slow is simply a powerful emotive song with a great vocal performance. Love this one.

I think that Paradise Circus was the only one tune which I liked from this album when I was listening to it few years ago. I am curious how my musical taste has changed and what would I say today. You gave me a musical hint for today :)

That album is a really mixed bag for me, but the songs that are good are really really good. Paradise Circus was something special though and the Gui Boratto remix was unavoidable when it came out for good reason. I think the album felt like it minimized the electronic pieces and that was disappointing, but songs like Pray For Rain and Saturday Come Slow had a surprising amount of legs for me. Didn't feel like the Massive Attack I love, but great none the less.
