What are the health benefits of drinking water?

Did you know that the water you find INSIDE your cells is quite a bit different, very different in fact, than the water that you drink?
That's right, it's like sea water.
And it gets produced by your little bacterial friends that populate the inside of your cells and are making the chemical energy packets allowing you to perceive this answer and, letting me physically type it.
Those are your mitochondria.
One of The byproducts of mitochondrial ATP production are: hydrogen ions
These hydrogen ions combine with H2O and make a layer around the cells and its organelles called EZ or exclusion zone water, that acts as a "shield" to keep foreign invaders out of your cells.
It does more than this, but that's for starters.
Stay away from tap water in the city.
In fact, drinking to much tap water can be detrimental to your health for a number of reasons.
The main one though is that fluoride, present in the majority of water found in modern cities, slows down the production of ATP by your mitochondria.
How does it do that? It would be beyond the scope of this short answer.
Let's just say, it does that, and it's a bad thing ok? Very bad..
Drinking distilled water can also make you sick.
It's basically "empty" water.
No micronutrients or minerals on there.
These are things your body needs to operate on a fundamental cellular level.
As you can see, Not every water is created equal,so the answer, is dependent on many different factors, and, much of the info on healthy hydration and water benefits are based on nothing but bro science.
Healthy water practices:
Drink natural, unfloridated spring water.
Drink enough that your urine is not clear, but has a light yellow straw color to it.
Do not drink distilled water unless you have "remineralized".
Get lots of sunlight, especially at sunrise.
Red light makes up 43% of natural light.
It is used to charge the water that makes up your "extra cellular fluid" and is a fundamental link in the chain of events that make that wonderful ATP that powers you, and me.
Thats more than a health benefit, that's life itself.
